What is a vacuum furnace
The vacuum furnace is an industrial furnace which can be drawn under pressure in the furnace. It was around the 1930s. In 1927, the United States made electrical material vacuum annealing furnace. In 1953, vacuum autoelectric arc furnace was used in industrial smelting sponge titanium. The vacuum induction furnace was widely used in industry in the 1950s. In 1960, the United States developed an oil quenching vacuum furnace. The vacuum furnace is divided into vacuum resistance furnace, vacuum induction furnace, vacuum arc furnace, vacuum arc furnace, electron beam furnace (also known as electron blast furnace) and plasma furnace.
The vacuum furnace is heated by electric heating. The surface of the workpiece is not oxidized. It is helpful to remove impurities by melting metal with vacuum furnace. Suitable for high quality, high purity, refractory metal melting and heating, such as tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium, titanium, heat resistant alloy steel smelting and magnetic materials, high strength steel, stainless steel, tool steel, electrical material, heat treatment of die steel etc.
The vacuum furnace is usually composed of the furnace, the electric heating device, the sealing furnace shell, the vacuum system, the power supply system and the temperature control system. The sealing furnace shell is usually made of carbon steel or stainless steel, and the joint surface of detachable parts is sealed with vacuum seal. In order to prevent the heat and deformation of the furnace shell and the heat of the sealing material, the shell is usually cooled by water or air. The furnace is located inside the sealed furnace shell. According to the use of the furnace, there are different types of heating elements in the furnace, such as resistance, induction coil, electrode and electron gun. The vacuum furnace of smelting metal is filled with crucible, and some are equipped with automatic pouring device and the manipulator of loading and unloading materials. Vacuum system is mainly composed of vacuum pump, vacuum valve and vacuum gauge.
After the vacuum furnace is repaired, it is necessary to vacuum the vacuum furnace. The insulation of vacuum furnace can be detected by 1000V meter before the vacuum furnace oven. Vacuum furnace oven three phases: (1) water ejection period O ~ 200 ℃, is the water in the vacuum furnace thermal insulation layer and the moisture in the vacuum furnace ejection time, must check the vacuum degree of vacuum furnace, heat preservation for a long time at the same time. The temperature area with large air discharge volume in the vacuum furnace is generally around 500, because the air volume of the vacuum furnace is relatively large, and the temperature rise is not more than 50 degrees /h. The thermal insulation time is usually over 60 minutes, and the thermal insulation period is about 1200. The heating temperature increases by 100 ~ 200 degrees. For a period of time, the heating temperature is too fast and the insulation layer and vacuum furnace are not fully ventilated.
