Vacuum Oil Quenching Furnace
Vacuum oil quenching furnace is a non-standard electric furnace specially designed according to the requirement of users. It is mainly used for heat treatment such as quenching and heating of various parts of aluminum industry.
Work piece after quenching hardness but brittleness is bigger, in order to achieve different performance requirements of various workpiece can be tempered with appropriate to adjust the hardness, decrease the brittleness, and help to get toughness and plasticity.
The main form of quenching to improve hardness is through heating, cooling and heat preservation. The most commonly used cooling medium is brine, water and oil. The workpiece of brine quenching is easy to get high hardness and smooth surface effect, which seldom produces hardened soft spots, but it is easy to make the workpiece badly deformed and even cracked. However, the quenching medium is only suitable for the quenching of some alloyed steel or small size steel workpiece in the stability of the cold austenitic body.
