What are the functions and precautions of vacuum furnace?
1. Vacuum quenching (tempering, annealing) is a treatment method to achieve the expected performance by heating and cooling the materials or parts in vacuum according to the process specification.
2. In the vacuum state, the vacuum sintering furnace heats the metal powder products to make the adjacent metal powder grains form parts through adhesion and diffusion.
3. Vacuum atmosphere furnace is also known as oxygen free annealing furnace. Vacuum atmosphere furnace is commonly used for vacuum, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, inert gas (such as argon) and other atmospheres. Choosing suitable sintering atmosphere for different materials is helpful to the sintering process, the densification degree of products and the products with good properties.
4. In the vacuum state, the vacuum brazing furnace heats a group of weldments above the melting point of filler metal, but below the melting point of the base metal. It is a kind of welding process that the weld is formed by the wetting and flowing of filler metal to the base metal.
Precautions for use of vacuum furnace:
1. Pickling, cleaning and drying the workpiece to be quenched to ensure that the surface of workpiece and basket is free of dirt and moisture.
2. Check whether the water, electricity and gas are unblocked, and whether the water pressure, overtemperature, overcurrent and other alarm devices and interlock protection are in good condition.
3. Check that the insulation resistance of the furnace door is greater than 22KW, and the furnace door is sealed in good condition.
4. Adjust the air cooling pressure: adjust the upper limit of the electric vacuum pressure gauge to the range required by the process.
5. During the charging process, the workpiece shall be placed evenly to make the heating process more uniform and ensure the uniformity of furnace temperature. Long workpieces shall be erected as far as possible to reduce the deformation caused by gravity at high temperature.
6. During the operation of the vacuum furnace, the control cabinet of the distribution cabinet uses low voltage to control high voltage. Generally, the operator will not directly touch the high voltage, generally 24V or 36V. However, the power supply voltage is still 380V, and the electrical components in the distribution cabinet also have 380V voltage, so it is still necessary to pay attention to the safe use of electricity.
7. In the production process of the vacuum furnace, the air tightness shall be strictly ensured, which is the premise of ensuring the vacuum state. The circulating water in the furnace body shall also be watertight. When the furnace body is connected with other components, the sealing ring must be used for connection and the cleanliness of the connection surface and the vacuum grease shall be applied.
