Vacuum Hydrogen Furnace Heating Method
There are two main heating modes of vacuum hydrogen furnace: internal heating and external heating.
What is vacuum hydrogen furnace internal heating and external heating?
The inner heating type is provided with a heater in the insulation layer, and the heater directly heats the workpiece.
The external heating type is set outside the furnace made of a high temperature resistant alloy. The workpiece is indirectly heated by the heater through the furnace wall, so that the workpiece is no longer polluted by volatiles produced by heating materials and insulation materials, and the workpiece is allowed to be heat treated and hot processed in any protective atmosphere (including flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive gases), with the highest temperature. Limited by furnace material.
The heater has tungsten wire, molybdenum wire (strip, rod), graphite rod and other structures to choose from. The external heating type uses ordinary electric heating wire, which depends on the maximum temperature required by users.
Heaters are distributed in two ways: four-sided heating and omni-directional heating to ensure the uniformity of temperature in the furnace. There are two types of heating and insulation room: all-metal type and composite type. All-metal type is composed of heat-resistant stainless steel and molybdenum screen. Composite type is composed of heat-resistant stainless steel, molybdenum screen and carbon felt, mullite fiber or lead silicate fiber. This depends on the user’s technological conditions and requirements for the technological environment. The large capacity hydrogen furnace is equipped with an external circulation rapid cooling system to improve the cooling rate. For large capacity hydrogen furnace with composite insulation layer, vacuum pump can be selected to ensure rapid air evacuation.
