Vacuum Heat Treatment of W18Cr4V Steel Rolling Die
Material: W18Cr4V Steel
Technical requirements: 62 ~ 64hrc, bright surface.
Figure 1 shows the rolling die of copper core steel die of textile printing and dyeing machine, which is made of W18Cr4V Steel, and the hardness is required to be 62 ~ 64hrc, which is in the middle of the roller φ There are 47 threads with a height of 0.12mm at 33mm. From its working state, the rolling die should be heated without oxidation to ensure that the tooth profile meets the requirements, that is, vacuum heat treatment.

The vacuum heat treatment process is 850 ° C x 30min preheating, 1280 ° C x 13 Heat for 5min, and the vacuum degree is 13.3-1.33pa. After heating and heat preservation, oil quenching is carried out, and the mold is transferred to the preparation room for oil quenching. After the mold is filled with oil, nitrogen (purity is 99.9%) is immediately connected to 0.6×105pa. It should be noted that in order to ensure that there is no “white bright layer” on the surface of the rolling die, appropriate and uniform precooling measures should be taken before quenching, and the precooling time should be determined according to the size of the mold and the amount of rain charged into the furnace.
