Gas cooling can better maintain the good surface state of the vacuum-heated workpiece, reduce the space occupied by the liquid coolant (vacuum quenching oil) in the vacuum heat treatment equipment, and simplify the vacuum quenching operation process. The main consideration of true air quenching is its cooling rate, which is related to the type of gas, gas pressure, gas velocity and the structure of heating equipment.
