Vacuum furnace range up to 3000°C
The main purpose of using vacuum furnace is heating. The temperature range of vacuum furnace developed and produced by SIMUWU is as high as 3000°C. In the process of heating, the heating rate should be fast. The selected heating materials must ensure good thermal conductivity, and can not produce deformation and a large amount of heat loss at high temperature, so as to ensure stable performance in a period of time.
When choosing heating elements, we should also deal with the chemical properties of the products according to our own needs, so as to avoid the material of heating elements affecting the quality of the workpiece. Therefore, the heating elements should be selected reasonably in vacuum furnace.
Graphite and stainless steel are commonly used heating elements in high vacuum sintering furnace.
Graphite heating element: Graphite has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, small thermal expansion and strong thermal shock resistance. Its mechanical strength increases with the increase of crushing temperature below 2500°C. It is the best at 1700°C, which exceeds all oxides and metals. Graphite material has high melting point, low vapor pressure and low carbon concentration in the atmosphere of vacuum furnace. It will react with oxygen and water vapor in residual gas to produce purification effect, greatly simplify the vacuum system and reduce the cost. In the manufacturing process of vacuum furnace, graphite is usually used as heating element in heat treatment, including its furnace bed support, insulation screen, connecting plate, connecting nut, ventilation tube, etc.
Stainless steel heating elements: small size, high power, fast thermal response, high temperature control accuracy, high comprehensive thermal efficiency, wide application range, strong adaptability, high heating temperature, long life, high reliability. High degree of mechanization, can bend into various shapes according to customer requirements, light, easy to disassemble and assemble. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, less material consumption, low cost, long service life, high heat conversion rate, and energy saving.
The reason why the vacuum furnace can not pump clean air:
In normal experiments, if there is a liquid, it needs a process of liquid evaporation (which can be vaporized without heating under high vacuum), and can be vaporized by vacuum pulling for a long time to achieve high vacuum (equal stability). If the target air pressure is not reached for a long time, the system and Roots pump should be considered. You can directly measure the limit vacuum of Roots pump (without access to other systems). If it is intact, it is the sealing performance of the system.
