Stainless steel, Oil cooler, heat exchanger brazing
Before stainless steel, oil cooler, heat exchanger brazing, generally do not need to carry out special cleaning, as long as the implementation of the oil removal process can be.
The selection of vacuum should not be too high, generally x 10-2pa above.High vacuum degree will lead to the volatilization of some alloy elements in the base material and reduce the material performance.
The higher the heating rate is, the better it is to prevent element segregation and carbide precipitation. For austenitic stainless steel, heating rate and cooling mode are not limited; For martensitic and ferritic stainless steels, rapid cooling after brazing is required to prevent residual austenite.
When the material is temperature limited and the silver base filler metal is chosen, copper or nickel is usually electroplated on the components because the silver filler metal has very little solubility to iron and is difficult to alloying and wet.
Vacuum brazing temperature — generally 900~ 1100C; Insulation time depends on the type of filler metal selected, the geometric size of the welding piece and the base material, generally no more than 30min. For martensitic and ferritic stainless steel components, Oil cooler, heat exchanger, after vacuum brazing, heat treatment should be carried out according to the technical conditions of the material to restore the performance of the material.
