SS 410 Oil Hardening Furnace
410 stainless steel is a stainless steel grade produced in accordance with the American ASTM standard, which is equivalent to my country’s 1Cr13 stainless steel, S41000 (American AISI, ASTM). 0.15% carbon content, 13% chromium content, 410 stainless steel: has good corrosion resistance, machinability, general purpose blades, valves. 410 stainless steel heat treatment: solution treatment (℃) 800-900 slow cooling or 750 fast cooling.

5. SS 410 Oil Hardening
The first quenching treatment: enter the oil hardening furnace below 500°C, heat to 970-1000°C, holding time not less than 2h, cool out of the furnace to below 200°C, and then air-cool to room temperature;
The first tempering treatment: enter the furnace below 350°C, heat to 700-740°C, hold time not less than 3h, and cool to room temperature after leaving the furnace;
The second quenching treatment: enter the oil hardening furnace below 500°C, heat to 870~910°C, holding time not less than 2.5h, cool the furnace oil to below 200°C, and then air-cool to room temperature;
Second tempering treatment: enter the furnace below 350°C, heat to 570-600°C, hold time not less than 4h, and cool to room temperature after leaving the furnace.
Further, the heating rate for heating to 970-1000°C in the first quenching treatment is 80-100°C/hour.
Further, the holding time of the first quenching treatment is effective thickness mm/40-33 mm hours.
Further, the heating rate for heating to 700-740°C in the first tempering treatment is 50-70°C/hour.
Further, the heat preservation time of the first tempering treatment is 1.5×effective thickness mm/40-33 mm hours.
