In the process of quenching, due to the different flow speed of the quenching cooling medium around the workpiece, and even the formation of “dead angle” of the liquid flow in some parts, the cooling speed of different parts of the workpiece is inconsistent, resulting in the uneven hardness of different parts of the workpiece.
According to the analysis of the above problems, the main reason for the uneven quenching hardness of the same batch of workpieces is that the cooling speed of the workpieces is not the same, the parts contacting with large flow medium have fast cooling speed and good quenching effect, while the cooling speed of the other side is slow and the quenching effect is poor, which leads to the uneven quenching hardness of the workpieces in different parts of the same batch, so it is ideal The quenching process should be that the whole basket can be evenly contacted with a large flow of low-temperature medium. For this reason, we designed a kind of quenching tool: rotating body. When in use, hang it on the upper part of the material basket.
The tooling uses the combination of thrust bearing and deep groove ball bearing. The thrust bearing bears the downward pull (the weight of workpiece and basket), and the deep groove ball bearing bears the radial pressure. During quenching, adjust the position of the basket in the quenching tank so that the outlet direction of the output pipe is offset from the center of the basket for a certain distance, and use the impact force formed by the mixing pump to generate a certain torque, so that the basket can rotate, so that the whole circumference direction of the basket can contact with a large flow of low-temperature medium, achieving the expected effect.
