Plasma Nitriding Furnaces
Plasma nitriding furnaces is a kind of equipment that ionizes nitrogen-containing rarefied gases in vacuum container in DC electric field, and forms nitriding layer on the surface of metal parts by positive ion bombardment, so as to achieve surface hardening.
Plasma Nitriding Furnaces Application
Plasma nitriding has remarkable nitriding effect on nodular cast iron, alloy steel, stainless steel, powder metallurgical products, titanium alloy, high speed steel, tool steel, etc.
Plasma Nitriding Furnaces Structure
Plasma Nitriding Furnaces is composed of five parts: furnace body, transmission device, vacuum acquisition system, power supply system, gas supply system and temperature measurement.
1. Furnace body is composed of furnace cover, cylinder body, furnace chassis and chassis. The furnace cover, cylinder body and furnace chassis are sandwiched with cooling water. There are stainless steel, alloy aluminum double-layer heat shield and double-layer tempered glass on the furnace body for observing the situation in the furnace during ion nitriding.
2. There are two sets of cathode transmission devices on the furnace cover and one set of thermocouple suspension columns. The suspension tray is installed on the furnace cover. The user should design the suspension according to the processed parts and hang the workpiece on the suspension tray through the suspension.
3. The vacuum acquisition system of the furnace body is generally composed of two rotary vane vacuum pumps and a pipeline system with a series of disc valves. The function of the disc valves is to adjust the pumping capacity by closing or rotating different angles to maintain the pressure in the furnace under different intake conditions. The vacuum value is read out by the vacuum meter matched with the vacuum measurement.
4. The inlet of the gas supply pipe of the furnace body is located on the shell and barrel of the furnace body, and one rotor flowmeter is used for hydrogen/nitrogen calibration.
5. The thermocouple is inserted into the furnace through a thermocouple hanging column, and simulated measurement is made. The temperature is recorded by the instrument and controlled by PID.
