Molybdenum Heating Element Annealing Furnace
The molybdenum heating element annealing furnace is mainly composed of a furnace body, a vacuum system, a charging car, a cooling water system, a compressed air system, and an electric control system. In this article, we will describe the characteristics of the furnace body and the heating element:
1. Furnace Body
The furnace body mainly consists of a furnace shell, a heat insulation reflective screen of the furnace bladder, a heating element, a workpiece support and a material tray. The furnace shell is a double-layer water-cooled jacket structure, and the flange, inner wall, outer wall and support are made of carbon steel. The jacket has undergone strict pressure test and leak detection, and has good air tightness and temperature stability. The cooling water in the water jacket circulates well to avoid the effect of uneven furnace shell temperature and excessively high temperature on the furnace shell. The inner wall of the vacuum is polished to ensure the cleanliness of the vacuum heating system and at the same time provide a guarantee for the heating system to obtain a high degree of vacuum. The remaining accessories on the furnace body include vacuum gauges, cooling gas backfill valves, inflation valves, vacuum pressure gauges, etc.
2. Molybdenum Heating Element
Commonly used models of molybdenum heaters are molybdenum wire heaters and molybdenum rod heaters.
1) Molybdenum wire heating element
The molybdenum wire heating element is woven from multiple strands of molybdenum alloy wire, and there are two specifications of one-stage and two-stage heating elements.
2) Molybdenum rod heating element
The molybdenum rod heating element is a pure molybdenum rod with a diameter of 5-16mm and a content of 99.95% high-temperature molybdenum. It is processed by a hot bending process. It is composed of multiple U-shaped heating parts, and the U-shaped heating can not reach more than 50 indivual.
The application of molybdenum in the steel industry still occupies the most important position. As an alloying element of steel, molybdenum can improve the strength of steel, especially the high temperature strength and toughness; improve the corrosion resistance of steel in acid-base solutions and liquid metals; improve the wear resistance of steel and improve hardenability and weldability And heat resistance. Molybdenum is a good element that forms carbides and will not be oxidized during the steelmaking process. It can be used alone or together with other alloying elements.
Molybdenum is used together with chromium, nickel, manganese and silicon to produce different types of stainless steel, tool steel, high-speed steel and alloy steel. The made stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and can be used for corrosion-resistant steel pipes in oil exploration, automobile shells, sewage treatment equipment, etc. A stainless steel with about 6% molybdenum can also replace titanium for seawater desalination devices, ocean-going ships, offshore oil and natural gas extraction pipelines.
The molybdenum series high-speed steel has the advantages of uneven carbide, wear resistance, good toughness, and strong high temperature plasticity. It is suitable for manufacturing forming tools. Molybdenum alloy steel can be used to manufacture structural parts of machine tools, industrial vehicles and bulldozing equipment.
