M16 Carbide Hobbing Knife Vacuum Brazing
Vacuum brazed M16 carbide hobbing cutter, This type of hobbing cutter can use the scraping process instead of the grinding process when machining the hardened gear. The structure is to weld a piece of cemented carbide at the negative rake angle of the gear body. The body material is 40Cr, the hard alloy is YT0.5, and the brazing material is made of sheet-shaped pure copper brazing material with a thickness of 0.2mm. The solder is cut and placed between the blade and the blade.
The jig is used to fix the blade on the cutter body, and the contact portion between the clamp and the part is coated with a solder resist to be loaded into a vacuum furnace. Vacuuming to 5×10-2Pa in cold state, heating to 1000 ℃ at a rate of 450 ℃ / h, filling the furnace with high-purity argon gas, the pressure in the furnace is 2~3Pa, stable 30~4omin, so that the temperature inside and outside the knife is even. Then heat to 1120 ± 5℃ at a rate of 250℃ / h, keep 15±2 min, power off with furnace pressure (2 ~ 3Pa) to below 900, refill with high purity argon
Increase the pressure in the vacuum brazing furnace to 4X10-1Pa, cool to below 400C, increase the filling amount of argon gas, increase the pressure to 8X 10-2Pa, start the fan to stir argon gas, and cool it to below 65℃. After the hob cutter is released from the furnace, it is strictly prohibited to collide, and it is naturally cooled in the air, so that the cutter body is completely shrunk and then the fixture is disassembled, otherwise the clamp is easily damaged.
