Introduction to the characteristics of high-performance sintered rare earth NdFeB
Neodymium iron boron is a kind of rare earth permanent magnet compound, composed of rare earth metal neodymium, metallic element iron, non-metallic element boron and a small amount of praseodymium, dysprosium, niobium, aluminum, gallium, copper and other elements. It is a kind of magnetic material, also known as magnetic steel. High-performance sintered rare earth neodymium iron boron characteristics, excellent magnetic properties, light weight, low price, known as “magnet king”, is by far the most cost-effective magnet material.
The Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet has a large magnetocrystalline anisotropy field, high magnetic polarization, and a theoretical magnetic energy product of 64mgOe. Its magnetic properties are more than 100 times higher than the magnetic steel used in the 19th century, 10 times higher than ordinary ferrite, Al-Ni-Co, and twice higher than the expensive platinum-cobalt alloy. The coercive force and energy density of the neodymium iron boron permanent magnet are very high, which greatly reduces the size of the magnetic material parts. It has promoted the miniaturization, weight reduction, thinning and high efficiency of instruments, electro-acoustic motors, computers, mobile phones and other equipment, improved product performance, and promoted the emergence of some special devices. High-performance sintered rare earth neodymium iron boron has good mechanical properties and is easy to process; its preparation technology is relatively mature, the Curie temperature is about 580K, and the use temperature can reach 150C.
