How to reduce the volatilization of pure copper solder in vacuum brazing process
Case :Vacuum brazing YG8 cemented carbide and 45 steel. The solder is brass. It is found that the brass volatilizes very strongly in the vacuum furnace and becomes pure copper. It is also found that the cemented carbide has a very strong deviation and volatilization. The copper is always welded to the base and the fixture. How to effectively avoid the volatilization of copper and reduce the pollution to the vacuum furnace?
1. Reduce the usage amount of copper solder;
2. Turn off the diffusion pump and Roots pump at 1000°C, and only turn on the mechanical pump. Open the partial pressure and keep the pressure between 100-300Pa.
3. Lower the brazing temperature.
