Characteristics and Functions of Carburizing Furnace
Gas Carburzing Furnace is used for gas carburizing of parts, and is usually used for heat treatment of parts using steel as raw material. The material used in the carburizing furnace is very light, and the integrated technology is used to make it have more excellent performance. For example, its furnace temperature is very uniform, which will not cause quality problems caused by uneven heating of various parts of the parts; its heat preservation performance is also better, and the heating speed is faster.
Structure: The carburizing furnace is composed of furnace shell, furnace lining, furnace cover lifting mechanism, furnace sealed fan, muffle tank, heating element and electric control system. The carburizing furnace shell is welded by steel plate and section steel. The furnace lining is an energy-saving composite structure made of high-strength ultra-light energy-saving refractory bricks, aluminum silicate fibers, diatomaceous earth insulation bricks and asbestos boards.
The furnace cover lifting mechanism is composed of motors, gear pumps and other components. When the furnace cover is opened, you only need to press the button on the control box, and the furnace cover will rise at a speed of 30-70 mm/sec. For safety reasons, two travel switches are installed on the lifting shaft. When the furnace cover is raised, the lower travel switch automatically cuts off the main circuit power supply of the carburizing furnace control cabinet, so that the heating element stops working while the upper travel switch limits the lifting shaft. The raised height to prevent the lifting pump from being raised too high and falling out.
The carburizing furnace uses a sealed fan installed on the furnace cover to stir the atmosphere in the muffle tank and make the composition uniform, and at the same time make the furnace temperature uniform. There are also three process tubes on the carburizing furnace cover that lead into the muffle tank of the furnace: a three-head stainless steel dripper is installed on the top of a sleeve, and the three-head dripper is used to drip methanol, kerosene or other into the furnace. Organic liquid, all kinds of liquids can be adjusted, the ammonia hole on the sleeve can be used to transport ammonia gas into the furnace for carbon and nitrogen co-infiltration (the nozzle can be closed when not nitriding); a sleeve As a sampling tube, a pipe joint on the upper part of the casing can be connected with a “U”-shaped glass tube pressure gauge.The function of monitoring the furnace muffle tank is to maintain the furnace pressure and ensure the normal progress of carburizing or carbon and nitrogen co-infiltration. It is made of heat-resistant steel (casting). The heating element is spirally wound by electric heating alloy wire and installed on the inner wall of the furnace lining. The temperature of the carburizing furnace is transmitted to the automatic temperature control cabinet through the compensation wire by the thermocouple inserted into the furnace, and the temperature is controlled by the thermocouple inserted into the furnace. The cabinet automatically controls, regulates and records the heating temperature in the furnace.
