The bright annealing furnace is mainly used for the heat treatment of the finished stainless steel in a protective atmosphere. When the performance requirements are different, the requirements for the metallographic structure after the bright annealing are different, and the bright heat treatment process is also different.

Use of Bright Annealing Furnace

1. It can effectively improve the defects and residual stress caused by the steel casting, forging, rolling or welding process, and can prevent the deformation and cracking of the workpiece.

Purpose and Advantages of Bright Annealing

1. Eliminate work hardening and obtain satisfactory metallographic structure. When the performance requirements are different, the requirements for the metallographic structure after the bright annealing are different, and the process of the bright heat treatment is also different.

2. Obtain a non-oxidizing bright surface with good corrosion resistance. Because the bright annealing is to heat the strip steel under the protective atmosphere of a mixed gas of hydrogen and nitrogen, by strictly controlling the protective atmosphere in the furnace, especially the purity, residual oxygen and dew point, a bright surface without oxidation can be obtained. Compared with the surface obtained by ordinary annealing and pickling, since there is no oxidation process, the chromium depletion phenomenon on the surface of the strip is reduced, and its corrosion resistance is better than that of the 2B plate after polishing.

3. The bright treatment maintains the smoothness of the rolled surface, and the bright surface can be obtained without post-processing. After bright annealing, the surface of the steel strip retains the original metallic luster, and a bright surface close to the mirror surface has been obtained. Under general requirements, the surface can be used directly without processing.

4. The strip steel with special rolling pattern surface can be developed. Since the surface of the steel strip is not changed during the annealing process, the rolling surface pattern can be completely retained, and the cold-rolled special pattern strip can be conveniently developed.

5. There is no pollution problem caused by ordinary pickling methods. The annealed strip steel does not need to be pickled or similarly treated, and various media such as acid are not used, and there is no pollution problem caused by pickling.

6. Realize the control of the plate shape. Since the design of the bright annealing furnace allows for section adjustment along the width direction of the strip, the cooling speed in the width direction of the strip can be adjusted through the air flow diversion to realize the online control of the plate shape.
