Brazing of oil cooler
Oil cooler is an important spare part of the automobile body. It is an important part to ensure the safe operation and life of the automobile engine. Its structure is complicated. Most of the mainstream oil coolers sold on the market today adopt a multi-layer densely arranged sawtooth type error. The all-aluminum integrally welded complex structure in which the fins are connected to the bottom plate. The structure oil cooler has the advantages of small volume, light weight, large heat dissipation area and high heat dissipation efficiency. It is a scientific problem worthy of study to ensure the high quality connection between the fins of the complex structural member and the partition plate and the partition plate and the bottom plate. Because the good connection quality can not only play an excellent heat dissipation effect, but also can improve the service life of the oil cooler, reduce the maintenance cost of the automobile, improve the competitiveness of the automobile production enterprise, and save resources.
Brazing is considered to be an ideal process for connecting complex and precise structures. The structure of aluminum alloy oil cooler is complex and the material is thin-walled. Therefore, the brazing process is the preferred method for connecting oil coolers. At present, the common methods for connecting aluminum alloy oil coolers for automobiles are protective gas brazing and vacuum brazing. Vacuum brazing has the following advantages over protective gas brazing:
1. Vacuum brazing does not use flux, which not only significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the product, but also eliminates various pollutions, saves the cost of pollution-free processing equipment, and has good safety production conditions;
2. Vacuum brazing not only saves a lot of expensive metal flux, but also does not require complicated flux cleaning process, which reduces production cost;
3. Vacuum brazing has good wettability and fluidity, can weld more complicated and narrow channel devices, vacuum brazing improves product yield and obtains a firm and clean working surface;
4. Compared with other methods, the internal structure of the vacuum brazing furnace and the fixture have a long life, which can reduce the maintenance cost of the furnace.
For the plate oil cooler, since the connection between the plate and the plate is very tight, there is no gap on the oil cooler, and the heat conduction efficiency is low.
