Aluminum Alloy Radiator Vacuum Brazing
Cleaning before welding is an important part of vacuum brazing process.Different materials have different cleaning requirements. Aluminum vacuum brazing relies on magnesium vapor reduction to activate the surface of parts to achieve brazing purpose. Magnesium content is an important factor affecting the quality of brazing.
However, the composite plate is not suitable for conventional chemical cleaning, chemical reaction will consume magnesium surface, reduce the ability of inhalation.Organic solvent used abroad to remove oil does not consume magnesium, cleaning effect is good, but the cost is too high.
Recommended vacuum brazing process parameters
(1)Choose the appropriate cleaning scheme for the composite plate pretreatment, the best effect, fill gap length of 86.2%, fill gap height of 2.59mm.
Brazing parameters: vacuum 1×104~2×105 Torr, brazing temperature 600 ~ 610°C, insulation time 10 mins.
Component preparation → cleaning → plate assembly → vacuum brazing→ head beam and plate beam of argon arc welding→ machining→ pressure sealing experiment → assembly→ inspection→ painting→ packing→ mould workpiece fixture
