17-4PH is precipitation hardening steel, the implementation standard: ASTM A564/A564M-2013

1. 17-4ph Product Features

17-4PH alloy is a precipitation, hardening, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/columb. This grade has high strength, strength (up to 3000 C/572o F) and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and the compressive strength can reach as high as 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi).

17-4PH has high strength, high hardness, good welding performance and corrosion resistance. It has been widely used in valves, shafts and chemical fiber industries, and high-strength parts with certain corrosion resistance requirements.

3. 17-4ph, h900 Heat Treatment Process

Preheating heating temperature: 850±10℃

Holding time: 35±5min2

Solution heating temperature: 1040±5℃

Holding time: 80±5min;

Vacuum degree: 1～30Pa;

Oil temperature: 25～70℃

Oil retention time: 10±2min3

Immerse the cleaned parts at 80～100℃

Cleaning tank ①Clean for 20～30min out of the tank and immerse into the 20～40℃ rinsing tank ②Rinse for 2～5min out of the tank to dry or blow dry

Aging heating temperature: 480±5℃

Holding time: 250±10min

Air-cooled room temperature
