Vacuum heat treatment of crankshaft of internal combustion engine
Because the crank bearing of the internal combustion engine is subjected to the periodically changing gas pressure, the inertia force of the crank connecting rod machine, the torsional and bending stress and the impact force, there is still torsional vibration in the high-speed internal combustion engine, which will also cause a lot of stress. This affects the life of the crankshaft.
Therefore, there are certain requirements for the selection of materials and processing technology for vacuum heat treatment of internal combustion engine crankshafts (high strength, certain impact toughness and high wear resistance at the journal, etc.). Especially the vacuum heat treatment of materials.
1.Low-speed internal combustion engine, carbon steel and ductile iron in normalized state by vacuum heat treatment
2.Medium-speed internal combustion engine, using quenched and tempered carbon steel or alloy steel, such as 45, 40Cr, 45Mn2, 50Mn2, etc. and ductile iron.
3.High-speed internal combustion engine, using high-strength alloy steel, such as 35CrMo, 42CrMo, 18Cr2Ni4WA, etc.
4.110 diesel engine crankshaft: QT60-2 normalizing, intermediate frequency quenching, σb≥650N/mm^2, a k> 15N. m/mm^ 2, (sample 20X20X 110mm), shaft HB240-300, journal HRC≥55, pearlite quantity: test bar≥75%, crankshaft≥70%.
Vacuum heat treatment of worm
1.A worm with a small load and a small cross-section. Material 45 quenched and tempered, HB220- 250
2.There are precision requirements (thread grinding) and the speed is less than 2m/s. Material 45 vacuum quenched, vacuum tempered, HRC45-50
3.Small and medium-sized worms with high sliding speed and light load. Material 15 Carburizing, vacuum quenching, low temperature vacuum tempering, HRC56-62
4.Sliding speed > 2m/s (maximum 7-8m/s); worms with high precision requirements and a surface roughness of 0.4, such as the main worms in vertical lathes. Material 20Cr, 20Mn2B 900- 950″C carburizing, 800- -820°C vacuum oil quenching, 180-200°C low temperature vacuum tempering, HRC56-62
