Vacuum heat treatment of different metal materials
Vacuum heat treatment technology is a very widely used technology, which is widely used in aerospace, electronics, and precision machinery. It has outstanding advantages in the production of metals that cannot be compared with ordinary heat treatment. Because the surface of the vacuum heat-treated workpiece does not oxidize, does not decarburize, and has a bright surface, it has the functions of degassing and purification, and can improve the purity of the material. At the same time, the fatigue strength, plasticity, toughness and corrosion resistance of the material are improved, and the processed workpiece has no risk of hydrogen embrittlement, effectively preventing the surface embrittlement of titanium and refractory metals. The quenching deformation of the vacuum furnace is small, and the stability and repeatability of the heat treatment process are good. 1.Vacuum heat treatment of elastic alloy
Elastic alloys can be divided into Fe, Ni, Co, Ti, Nb-based and other categories according to their chemical composition. Taking iron-based alloys as an example, this type of alloy has good plasticity in the quenched state after solid solution, and can be formed into components, strengthened after aging, has high mechanical and elastic properties, is non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant. It is a highly elastic material widely used in precision instruments, aviation and aerospace fields.
2.Vacuum annealing treatment of electrical silicon steel
The purpose of annealing is to eliminate the residual stress and work hardening caused by cold working such as rolling, stamping, shearing and deburring. Annealing can purify the material, reduce harmful impurities and gases in steel such as carbon, sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, etc., and further improve the magnetic properties of the material. Vacuum annealing can also be added after hydrogen annealing, because the hydrogen infiltrated by hydrogen annealing is removed and further degassed, the magnetic properties are improved.
3.Vacuum heat treatment of industrial pure iron
The iron core, armature and yoke (referred to as the three irons) used in the relay are made of DT4A. Treated in a vacuum furnace, the brightness is increased by 80%, the grain size is improved, and the toughness and strength are improved. The vacuum furnace has high temperature control accuracy, good temperature uniformity, adjustable heating and cooling speeds, and can be conveniently processed at high temperatures. Of course, the combination of vacuum and hydrogen heat treatment will achieve better effects on soft magnetic materials.
4.Vacuum heat treatment of copper and copper alloys
When oxygen-containing copper is annealed in reducing gas (H2, CO, CH4), the phenomenon of automatic brittleness and cracking is called “hydrogen disease”. This phenomenon occurs because hydrogen and other gases penetrate into the interior of copper during annealing, and react with oxygen contained in copper to form high-pressure water vapor or CO2. Oxygen-free copper and deoxidized copper are heated in oxidizing gas and then heated in reducing gas, which will also cause “hydrogen disease”. Therefore, the annealing of industrial pure copper products is best carried out in a vacuum furnace.
Mirror copper tubes are necessary materials in the production of air conditioners and refrigerators. They must have regular shapes, smooth surfaces, precise dimensions and stable performance. The wall thickness deviation should be less than 20%, and at the same time, it must be ensured that it will not break or leak under the pressure of 7MPa. In order to meet these requirements, the heat treatment of the mirror copper tube should use vacuum heat treatment.
Brass plates and wires need to be annealed repeatedly during the manufacturing process. In order to prevent oxidative discoloration and material loss due to oxidation, bright annealing is usually used. In this way, the pickling process for removing scale can also be omitted, and the environmental pollution caused by pickling can also be avoided. Treating copper products in a vacuum furnace is expected to obtain a bright surface and excellent performance, with bright surface, consistent color, and uniform hardness of inner and outer rings.
Semi-finished products such as beryllium bronze strips, strips, wires, and bars are mostly supplied in soft (quenched) and semi-hard (work hardened) states. The material in this state can be directly cold-formed into parts of various shapes, and directly aged and strengthened.
5.Vacuum heat treatment of high-purity aluminum foil
High-purity aluminum foil is the basic material for manufacturing aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Annealing is a key process in the production of aluminum foil, which directly affects the quality and electrical properties of aluminum foil. There is rolling oil when the aluminum foil is rolled, so there are more oil stains in the gaps of the aluminum foil. Vacuum annealing has a degreasing effect, which can effectively remove the oil stains, protect the smooth surface of the foil, and improve the electroerosion effect of the aluminum foil.
