What is a vacuum gas quenching furnace?
A vacuum gas quenching furnace refers to a heat treatment process in which titanium alloys, high-temperature alloys, tool steels, high-speed steels and other materials are loaded into a vacuum furnace, heated to a certain temperature after the furnace reaches the specified vacuum degree of the process, and then quickly filled with high-pressure inert gas to quickly cool the material.

1. The heating chamber of the vacuum gas quenching furnace adopts a molybdenum foil furnace. Molybdenum, as a high-melting-point, high-purity material, has good stability and fast heating speed. Molybdenum materials have excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance. There is no volatilization during the heating process, which reduces the impact of impurities on the workpiece.
2. The ultimate vacuum degree of the equipment is 1×10-4pa. Under low-pressure conditions, the heat conduction and oxidation reaction of the gas can be reduced, thereby protecting the heat treatment effect of the material.
3. The maximum operating temperature can reach 1600℃, which can achieve heat treatment of most metals.
4. The size of the furnace chamber temperature zone: 700mm*500mm*500mm, with a large effective working area, can handle medium and large parts.
5. The gas quenching medium can be argon gas, which can achieve rapid cooling in the furnace chamber and improve the organizational structure of the material. It can also be carried out according to material requirements. The material can only be subjected to furnace cooling heat treatment.
