Vacuum Furnace Maintenance Checklist
After the vacuum furnace is repaired, the oven must be dried and the vacuum furnace must be checked for vacuum leaks. Before drying the vacuum furnace, you can use a 1000V megger to check the insulation of the vacuum furnace. Normally it is not less than 2MΩ.
Vacuum oven baking is divided into three stages:
①The moisture discharge period is 0 to 200°C, which is the discharge period for the moisture in the insulation layer of the vacuum furnace and the moisture in the vacuum furnace body. The vacuum degree of the vacuum furnace must be checked, and the heat preservation time must be longer.
②The temperature zone where the vacuum furnace body outgass a large amount is generally around 500°C. Since the vacuum furnace outgassing is relatively large, the temperature rise at this time does not exceed 50°C/h. The holding time is generally more than 60 minutes.
③The heat preservation period is about 1200°C. Every time the heating increases by 100 to 200°C, the heat preservation needs to be carried out for a period of time. If the temperature rises too fast, it will be easily damaged, and the insulation layer and vacuum furnace will not be completely deflated.

4) The surrounding environment is free of conductive dust, flammable and explosive objects and gases, and corrosive gases that seriously damage metal materials;

2.Actual operating settings of the vacuum furnace
1) Regularly check whether the connection parts of the electronic control system are in good condition.
2) Correct use and standard operation, the maximum temperature of 1200℃ cannot be used for a long time.
3) Avoid overheating and overload operation, and resolutely prevent sudden rises and sudden cooling due to power outages to avoid damage to the furnace and heating wires.
3.Heating settings of vacuum furnace
1) It is strictly prohibited to directly add workpieces with high moisture content, volatile matter, organic compounds, etc. into the furnace for heating treatment.
2) It is strictly prohibited to add high-temperature molten materials such as metal and glass into the furnace for heating without loading the crucible.
4.After-use maintenance of vacuum furnace
1) Check the condition of the electric heating element frequently. If aging, breakage or short circuit occurs, it should be repaired and replaced in time.
2) Frequently remove chips, dust particles and scattered objects in the furnace to keep the furnace clean.
3) It is strictly prohibited to overload the vacuum furnace to avoid causing structural damage to the equipment.
