The Key Steps for Daily Maintenance of Vacuum Brazing Furnaces
Vacuum brazing is to use a metal material with a lower melting point than the base metal as the solder. In a vacuum environment, the weldment and the solder are heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the solder, but lower than the melting point of the base metal, and wetted with liquid solder. The base metal fills the joint gap and interdiffused with the base metal to realize the method of connecting the weldment.
The vacuum system includes mechanical vacuum pump, oil diffusion pump, vacuum pipeline and vacuum valve, etc. When the vacuum degree below 0.133Pa is only required, only the mechanical pump can be used. A simultaneous diffusion pump is required when a higher vacuum is required. The commonly used vacuum degree for brazing is between 1.33*102~1.33*10-3Pa.

Vacuum brazing equipment maintenance
Vacuum brazing equipment is a very complex system that requires a very detailed regular maintenance plan. It is best to do a weekly maintenance plan, monthly maintenance plan, quarterly maintenance plan and semi-annual maintenance plan.
1.Weekly plan to consider doing:
1) Clean the impurities in the furnace chamber 2) Check the air pipe for leakage 3) Check the pressure regulating valve of the air pipe, whether the lubrication and filtering device is normal 4) Check whether the purchased pressure switch is normal and adjust it if necessary 5) , Check the lubrication status of all valves with lubricating oil cups 6), check the fan current and voltage status 7), check the output voltage percentage from PLC to PCU
2.The monthly maintenance plan considers doing:
1), Check the backfill gas pipeline and joints for leakage 2), Check the tension and state of the pump belt 3), Check the ceramic insulation pad of the electric heating molybdenum for damage 4), Clean the dust in the control panel 5), Shut down and change oil 6) Check all safety interlocking devices
3.Quarterly maintenance plan to consider doing:
1) Check whether the secondary cable of the heater transformer is damaged or not 2) Check whether the wiring terminals of the heater transformer cable are firm 3) Check whether the wiring in the control cabinet and junction box is tight 4) Check the resistance of all transformers Whether the value is normal5), visually inspect all fuses6), test whether all thermal protection couples respond correctly
4.The semi-annual maintenance plan considers doing:
1), Lubrication of fan bearings 2), Lubrication of fan motor bearings 3), Lubrication of motor anchor bolts 4), Empty water collection pan and water pipe inspection surface protection 5), Bearing lubrication of motors and pumps
