The machining process of the stepped shaft is as follows:
1.Blanking: choose bar steel according to the diameter size.
2.Material breaking: Forging the bar into the first shaft section, the second shaft section, the third shaft section, the fourth shaft section and the fifth shaft section.
3.Preliminary vacuum heat treatment: Arrange for vacuum normalizing of the cut-off stepped shaft blank before cutting.
4.Guarantee the size of the end face: Then according to the principle of first face and then hole, the end face is processed first, and the key groove is milled after ensuring the end face size.
5.Rough turning: rough turning the outer circle of the third shaft section, take the left end face of the third shaft section as the reference plane, rough turning the outer circle of the first shaft section and the second shaft section, turn around and then use the third shaft section. The right end face is used as the reference, the fourth and fifth shaft sections are roughed, and then each undercut is roughed.
6.Quenching and tempering: The stepped shaft after rough turning is quenched and tempered.
7.Semi-finishing: The first keyway is semi-finished, then turn around and then take the outer circle of the third shaft section as the benchmark, semi-finish the fourth and fifth shaft sections in turn, and semi-finish the second keyway.
8.Fine turning: Use the adjustment method to align with the center line of the top, fine turning the first and second shaft sections, and turn around and fine turning the fourth and fifth shaft sections.
9.Turning end face: Turning the end face of the stepped shaft.
10.Milling the keyway: touch the knife on the surface of the stepped shaft and touch the surface of the workpiece lightly to ensure that the keyway is symmetrically distributed according to the center line.
11.Vacuum quenching: perform surface vacuum quenching treatment on the stepped shaft.
12.Grinding the outer circle: Use the adjustment method to align the center line of the top, and grind each shaft section of the stepped shaft.
13.Polishing: Mirror polishing is performed on the processed stepped shaft.
