NdFeB magnet vacuum sintering process
The vacuum sintering process of NdFeB magnets is a process of changing the powder separation body from a green body to a blank. It is responsible for sintering the stripped product. The relative density of the vacuum sintered NdFeB powder compact is relatively high, and the interparticle The contact is mechanical contact, and the bonding strength is low. In order to further increase the density, improve the contact properties between powder particles, increase the strength, and make the magnet have the microstructure characteristics of high permanent magnetic properties, it is necessary to heat the compact to the melting point of the basic phase of the powder Below the temperature, vacuum heat treatment is carried out for a period of time, this process is called vacuum sintering.
The vacuum sintering temperature of NdFeB magnets is about 1100°C.

Sintered NdFeB magnet vacuum sintering process operation flow:
1.Preparatory work: Before the operation, the operator checks the equipment, instruments, tooling and tools to make them complete.
2.Vacuum inspection: check and confirm that the furnace door is closed, and open the sintering furnace for vacuuming. Check the vacuum degree, calculate the vacuuming time, and confirm that the requirements are met before putting the product into the furnace.
3.Furnace feeding: After confirming that the product has been stripped off, fill the sintering furnace with nitrogen or other inert gas to atmospheric pressure according to the operating regulations, and then stop the filling. Open the slide valve, open the screen protection valve, open the feeding mechanism, and slowly send the sintering pot into the sintering furnace to make it in place. Reset the feeding mechanism. Close the screen protection valve, and then close the flapper valve. Close the glove box inflation valve and turn off the oxygen meter. Then set the parameters.
4.Vacuum sintering: Start the sintering furnace according to the operating procedures, and inspect the vacuum meter, voltmeter, ammeter, and cooling water of the vacuum equipment during the heating, heat preservation, and cooling processes.
5.Out of the furnace: After the vacuum sintering is completed, confirm that the temperature of the product in the furnace meets the process requirements, and open the furnace door; take out the sintering pot in the furnace with a hydraulic forklift and place it on a transfer vehicle. Close the furnace door and turn on the vacuum installation. Place the transfer vehicle in the area to be inspected.
