Definition of MIM:
Metal Injection Molding (MIM for short) is a new type of powder metallurgy near-net molding technology derived from the plastic injection molding industry. It is to uniformly mix metal or ceramic powder and organic binder, and shape it with an injection machine; then the binder in the formed blank is separated, and finally sintered and densified to obtain the final product.
Advantages of MIM:
Compared with press molding (PM), MIM can manufacture many parts with complex shape features due to the injection method. Vacuum sintering has a high degree of densification, and its performance is comparable to that of forged materials. Parts can be produced in their final shape as far as possible with little or no subsequent machining. High material utilization rate, suitable for mass production. The equipment investment is small, and the whole process can be controlled automatically, and the production efficiency is high.

MIM production preparation process:
The production process of MIM products mainly includes mixing, injection molding, degreasing, vacuum sintering, post-processing and other links. The equipment required for each link mainly includes mixing and granulating machines, injection molding machines, degreasing machines, vacuum sintering furnaces, testing equipment and Shaping machine, etc. MIM vacuum sintering equipment is the key equipment in the sintering process of metal injection molding (MIM).

Generally, the binder accounts for a large percentage of the volume of the formed blank, and the formed blank is prone to macroscopic and microscopic defects during the degreasing process. Vacuum sintering:
Vacuum sintering is the last process in the MIM process. Sintering eliminates the gaps between powder particles. It plays a role in densifying the product and homogenizing its chemical properties, which has a very important impact on the performance and precision of the product. Due to the relationship between the adhesive, there is a problem of deformation control and size control, especially when most MIM products are complex special-shaped parts, this problem is becoming more and more prominent. Uniform feeding and high tap density of the powder is a key factor for dimensional accuracy and deformation control of the final sintered product. Vacuum sintering conditions such as temperature, atmosphere, heating and cooling speed, etc. all affect the accuracy and performance of the product. In addition, vacuum sintering also has a carbon potential control problem, which also has an important impact on product performance.
MIM vacuum degreasing and sintering integrated furnace:
It is mainly used for vacuum degreasing and sintering of MIM products such as stainless steel products, and can realize two production processes of continuous degreasing and vacuum sintering in the same furnace.
Equipped with a rapid cooling system, the cooling speed can be adjusted according to the production process, which is conducive to improving product quality or work efficiency; equipped with an inflatable device, which can be filled with protective working gas according to the production process, and the flow rate is adjustable. Constant pressure/partial pressure sintering can suppress metal volatilization and improve product compactness and quality; directional airflow negative pressure degreasing can strengthen the degreasing effect and avoid pollution in the furnace; the special sealed furnace is conducive to improving the uniformity of furnace temperature; Key-type start control, high degree of automation; the furnace can be removed as a whole, which is convenient for maintenance.
