Maintenance of Vacuum Heat Treating Furnaces
Regular maintenance measures for vacuum heat treatment furnaces:
Vacuum pump maintenance: Mechanical vacuum pumps need to regularly replace lubricating oil, clean the pump cavity, check the wear of the vanes and rotors, etc., to ensure stable pumping performance; Diffusion vacuum pumps need to regularly replace working oil (such as silicone oil, etc.), check whether the steam nozzle is blocked, whether the water cooling system is normal (diffusion pumps need to be cooled when working), etc.; Molecular pumps need to pay attention to the lubrication and wear of bearings, the operating conditions of motors, etc., and extend the service life of vacuum pumps through regular maintenance to ensure their pumping efficiency and vacuum establishment capabilities.
Vacuum heat treatment furnace valve and pipeline maintenance: Vacuum valves need to regularly check the wear of the sealing surface, replace the sealing gasket in time, clean the impurities that may exist inside the valve, and ensure that the valve opening and closing functions are normal and the sealing is good. For vacuum pipelines, check whether the appearance is deformed or corroded, and regularly check the connection parts for leaks to ensure that the pipeline system can always maintain a good airtight state to avoid leakage due to long-term use and affect the vacuum degree.
Maintenance of the furnace body and sealing parts of the vacuum heat treatment furnace: Check the appearance of the furnace body to see if there are any deformations, cracks, etc. caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and focus on checking the wear of the sealing materials of the sealing parts such as the furnace door, observation window, and electrode interface, and replace the aging and damaged sealing gaskets and sealants in time to ensure the overall sealing of the furnace body.
Troubleshooting ideas for vacuum heat treatment furnaces:
Troubleshooting of insufficient vacuum degree of vacuum heat treatment furnaces: When the vacuum degree does not meet the requirements, first check whether the vacuum pump is operating normally, and check whether the vacuum pump’s exhaust pressure, flow rate and other parameters are within the normal range. If there is a problem, check the vacuum pump itself (such as motor failure, pump chamber leakage, etc.). Then check the pipes and valves of the entire vacuum system to see if there are any gas leaks. The leak location can be determined and repaired by segmented leak detection (such as using a helium mass spectrometer leak detector to check each part of the pipe and connector one by one). At the same time, it is also necessary to consider whether there is leakage in the furnace body, and carefully inspect and test the sealing parts such as the furnace door, observation window, and electrode. In addition, it is also necessary to analyze whether the material has abnormal degassing (for example, the material is damp, the gas content is too high), and take corresponding solutions according to different reasons, such as replacing the material, strengthening the exhaust, etc., to restore the normal vacuum degree.
Troubleshooting of unstable vacuum degree: If the vacuum degree fluctuates and is unstable, on the one hand, check the stability of the vacuum pump to see if there is an intermittent problem of poor exhaust (which may be caused by unstable power supply, loose internal parts of the pump, etc.); on the other hand, check whether the sealing parts of the furnace body are loose or the seal fails during operation, especially the furnace door may have problems such as deformation of the sealing gasket under long-term high temperature. It is also necessary to check whether there are other factors affecting the process, such as whether the feeding and discharging operations are standardized, whether the sintering temperature changes cause abnormal material degassing, etc. Through comprehensive investigation and analysis of these aspects, find out the causes of unstable vacuum degree and solve them.
