Ceramic metal vacuum brazing process flow
Ceramics and metals are the main materials. Ceramics generally use ceramic materials with high temperature stability and good thermal expansion coefficient matching, such as alumina, silicon nitride, etc. Metal materials need to be selected with good compatibility and creep properties with ceramics, such as molybdenum, copper, titanium, etc.
Determine the vacuum brazing process according to actual needs
Ceramic metal vacuum brazing mainly includes four steps: cleaning, patching, high-temperature heating and cooling. First, the ceramics and metals to be joined need to be surface cleaned to remove impurities and oxide layers. Then, place the metal patch on the ceramic surface, taking care to ensure that the patch is flat and tightly fitted. Next, the workpiece is placed in a vacuum furnace and brazed at high temperatures to cause a diffusion reaction between the ceramic and the metal to form a stable connection. Finally, the workpiece is cooled in a vacuum environment and further processed and inspected.
