Advantages of vacuum nitriding furnace for mold materials
Vacuum pulse nitriding furnace, vacuum nitriding furnace, referred to as nitriding furnace or nitriding furnace, is used for surface nitriding or nitrocarburizing of various aluminum molds, extrusion dies, screws, screw rods and other spare parts, especially suitable for There are nitriding treatments for slit, deep hole, and blind hole molds.
The nitriding process of the nitriding furnace is carried out in a low vacuum state, with automatic pressure change and air exchange, so that the atmosphere in every corner of the furnace can be kept fresh and active, with fast penetration speed and good uniformity of the atmosphere in the furnace. The furnace has good sealing performance, and the exhaust gas is pumped to the sealed water tank by a vacuum pump and then discharged. It is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly product.
The advantages of this furnace type are summarized as follows (using aluminum model H13):
1.Fast penetration
Heat preservation time: 8-10 hours; penetration layer depth: 0.14-0.18mm; white bright layer: 0.006-0.01mm.
2.High surface hardness
The surface hardness can reach HV1000-1200.
3.Large furnace capacity and low processing cost
Low vacuum variable pressure technology is used to complete the nitriding (nitriding) process in a low vacuum and variable pressure environment. Fresh atmosphere can penetrate into any corner of the furnace tank, so the workpieces can be packed tightly, greatly increasing the furnace capacity. , at the same time, the furnace has good sealing and heat preservation properties, thereby significantly reducing processing costs.
4.Small surface friction coefficient
Because the low vacuum voltage transformation technology makes the nitride layer on the working surface extremely dense, the surface friction coefficient is small.
5.Low brittleness
Periodic changes in furnace pressure cause periodic changes in the nitrogen potential of the atmosphere in the furnace. While accelerating the penetration rate, it can inhibit the appearance of the brittle phase (Fe2N) and help reduce brittleness, effectively avoiding the occurrence of brittleness during the working process. Exfoliation (peeling) phenomenon.
6.Stable process
The atmosphere in the furnace is uniform and controllable, and the furnace temperature is uniform, thus ensuring process stability and improving and ensuring the nitriding quality of the work.
7.Easy to operate
When the furnace is in service, the pressure in the furnace changes periodically, and the nitrogen potential also changes periodically, so that one-stage nitriding has the advantages of second- and third-stage nitriding. There is no need to use second- and third-stage nitriding, which simplifies the process and is easy to operate. One person can operate 4-5 furnaces.
8.Wide adaptability and uniform penetration layer
If the working surface is in an extremely narrow slit, for a traditional positive pressure nitriding furnace, this is not conducive to the replacement and diffusion of fresh atmosphere, and the nitriding effect of the working surface is not ideal. The nitriding furnace using low vacuum transformer technology was developed to address this problem. The low vacuum variable pressure technology allows the furnace gas to automatically diffuse throughout the tank without any dead ends, and the required penetration layer can also be obtained on the working surface of the mold slit.
