Negative Electrode of Lithium Battery High Temperature Graphitization Process
The graphitization of the negative electrode material refers to the transformation of carbon atoms from a disorderly irregular arrangement to a hexagonal planar network structure at a high temperature, that is, a graphite microcrystalline structure, which is intended to achieve high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and resistance of graphite. Conflict and other functions. The graphitization temperature can be as high as 3100 ℃, the higher the temperature, the more perfect the development of graphitized crystallite structure.
The anode materials that have been actually used in lithium ion batteries are basically carbon materials, such as artificial graphite, natural graphite, mesophase carbon microspheres, petroleum coke, carbon fiber, pyrolytic resin carbon and so on.
The production process of artificial graphite is as follows:

Negative electrode graphitization furnace:
1. Furnace chamber
1) The furnace body is a vertical structure with an open cover and a double-wall water cooling structure. The inner tank is made of SS 304 steel, and the interlayer of double walls is provided with cooling water. The furnace body can be vacuumed and protected with gas.
2) The furnace body is equipped with a gas extraction ports (for connection with a vacuum pump), electrode flange port, infrared temperature measurement hole, gas outlet and so on. The height of the base in the furnace can be adjusted to suit different sensor heights.
3) The furnace body is equipped with an insulation layer and a crucible in the furnace.
2.Inductive coil
The inductive coil is made of high-quality square copper tube with low magnetic flux leakage and high efficiency. The fixed bar of the inductive coil is made of stainless steel and it won’t get carbonization in high-temperature.
3. Resonant capacitor
The resonant capacitor uses a water-cooled structure with a 30% margin.
4. Infrared thermometer
Provided imported brand infrared thermometer to observe the temperature on the crucible in the furnace in real time. The infrared temperature probe adopts imported two-color infrared thermometer. This thermometer can also make very accurate measurements when the smoke, dust and other particles in the furnace block the target.
5. Vacuum system
It is composed of direct-connected mechanical pump, electromagnetic vacuum valve with inflation, vacuum butterfly valve, diaphragm valve and pipeline. One set of vacuum diaphragm valve is used to fill the process gas, and the other one is used to fill the air before the furnace door to break the vacuum.
6. Electrical control system
The temperature control instrument uses a 0.1% intelligent segmented program to control the regulator. The instrument can store 50 heating programs and can be equipped with a communication port.It is quipped function of PLC protection, sequence control and chain protection, early warning, alarm and other functions.It can also monitor the lack of phase, water pressure, circuit, protective gas, vacuum pump, furnace temperature, cabinet temperature, etc., to achieve the power supply, furnace body, cooling water, protective gas and other devices.
