Mold vacuum heat treatment

Mold heat treatment is an important process to ensure the mold performance. It has a direct impact on the following performance of the mold.

1: precision mold manufacturing: organizational change uneven, incomplete and heat treatment of residual stress caused by the mold after heat treatment, machining, assembly and mold deformation in the process of use, thereby reducing the precision of the mould, even scrapped.

2: the strength of the mould, due to improper heat treatment process, heat treatment state of operation is not standard, or heat treatment equipment is not in good condition, caused by processing the mold strength (hardness) can not meet the design requirements.

4: mold manufacturing costs: as the middle part of mould manufacturing process or final process, heat treatment of cracking, deformation error and the performance is poor, in most case, it can make the mold scrapped, even through the repair still can continue to use, also can increase working hours, extend the delivery time, improve the mould manufacturing costs.

It is the relationship between heat treatment technology and mould quality that makes these two technologies promote each other in the process of modernization. In recent years, the rapid development of international mold heat treatment technology is the vacuum heat treatment technology, the surface strengthening technology of the mold and the pre-hardening technology of mold materials.
