P20 die steel material
P20 die steel is a mold welding material model, the earliest is P20, followed by P20H, P20Ni have come out. P20 steel is suitable for making plastic mold and die casting low melting point metal mold materials.The steel has good machinability and mirror grinding performance.The P20 die steel has been prehardened to 285-330HB (30-36HRC), which is in the same state as GS-2311 from Sweden 618 and Germany. It can be directly used in die making and has good dimensional stability, so that the prehardened steel can meet the requirements of general use and the life of the die can reach up to 500 thousands die times.

P20 die steel heat treatment:
In order to increase the life of the mold to more than 800,000 times, we use the SIMUWU model VOGQ-446 dual-chamber vacuum oil quenching furnace to harden and temper the pre-hardened steel.When quenching, preheat at 500-600℃ for 2-4 hours, and then keep the temperature at 850-880℃ for a certain period of time (at least 2 hours), put into the oil and cool to 50-100℃ for oil air cooling. After quenching, the hardness can reach 50-52 HRC. In order to prevent cracking, the low temperature tempering treatment at 200℃ should be carried out immediately.

Thermoplastic injection mold, extrusion mold.
Thermoplastic blow mold.
Heavy duty mold main parts.
Cold structure parts.
Often used in the manufacture of TV case, washing machine, refrigerator shell, bucket and so on.
