Energy saving effect of alumina silicate fiber used in heat treatment furnace
In the heat treatment furnace, whether the furnace lining’s material is reasonable or not, will affect the heat storage loss and temperature speed directly as well as furnace’s service life. Therefore, there are several basic principals when choose furnace lining material: energy saving effect, service life and technical requirements. Among the new furnace lining materials,there are two kinds : light weight fire brick, alumina silicate fiber. Alumina silicate fiber is a kind of new refractory material. Owing to its high temperature resistant, low heat conductivity, low thermal capacity and stable chemical property, as well as good thermal shock resistance.when using it as hot face material or insulation material in heat treatment furnace, the energy saving effect reaches 10% to 30%, if applied in cycle production electric furnace, the power can be saved within 25% to 35%. Seeing from mentioned data, applying alumina silicate fiber to improve heat treatment furnace will achieve good energy saving effect.
