D2 Steel Heat Treatment
D2 steel has high wear resistance, micro-deformation cold work die steel, wind hard tool steel, carbon content up to 1.5%, chromium content up to 11.5%, heat treatment hardness up to 60HRC. D2 steel can be used to produce cold work die steel with large cross section, complex shape, high impact force and high wear resistance, such as silicon steel sheet die, cold cut scissors, trimming die and so on.

Vacuum heat treatment furnace
High wear resistance, vacuum heat treatment to HRC60°-62°, excellent processing performance.
After roughing the workpiece, heat it to 600~650°C, keep it for 2h, cool it to 500°C with the furnace, and let it cool.
Hardness: Annealed, ≤255HB, indentation diameter ≥3.8mm; quenching, ≥59HRC
After quenching, it should be tempered in time to prevent cracking, and to prevent surface decarburization. The gauge and high precision mold should be subjected to cryogenic treatment (-70 °C), and high temperature tempering is used to reduce the deformation of the workpiece. The high temperature tempering temperature is 500~560 °C. , hardness greater than 58HRC
Heat treatment specification: quenching, preheating at 820±15°C, heating at 1000±6°C (salt bath) or 1010±6°C (furnace controlled atmosphere), keeping warm for 10~20min, air cooling, tempering at 200±6°C.
Annealing to HB255
Thickness: 2.5mm-12mm-14mm-16mm
Used in metal stamping die, drawing die, stainless steel punching die, high hardness punching die, shearing die, silk die, hardware parts manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, etc.
1) For the compressor compressor back cover drawing die, quenching hardness 56~58HRC.
2) In order to improve the service life of the flat steel rolled material of D2 cold work die, the method of adding rare earth is used to improve the wear resistance and impact toughness of the steel, so as to improve the service life of the flat die flat steel. .
3) Since the V and Mo contents in D2 steel are higher than that of Cr12MoV steel, it has better comprehensive performance, and the traditional Cr12MoV steel will be gradually replaced.
4) The rolling wheel made of D2 steel and the cold stamping die from the table adjusting plate can increase the service life by 5-6 times compared with Cr12MoV steel.
